Lindsey O'Dell Aha Media Team Headshot 2025

Lindsey O’Dell

Project Coordinator

Lindsey O’Dell’s path took her around the world and through a variety of jobs before she landed at Aha Media Group. But as soon as she arrived, she felt at home. Her background in biomedical science, marketing, and freelance writing all come together in her role as Project Coordinator. “I love pulling all the pieces of a project together, so everyone is on the same page,” she says. “What motivates me is making sure clients get the best results — not just what they want, but also what they need.”

Growing up in Houston, Lindsey dreamed of being a doctor for international relief organizations. She studied biomedical sciences at Marist College in upstate New York and later worked in an oncology lab, assessing bone marrow samples for cancer. But she wasn’t sure medicine was the right direction, so she tried a new one: heading south to live in Argentina. She landed an internship in marketing, which led to roles as a freelance medical content creator and content marketing lead for a healthcare software company.

Today, Lindsey and her husband live in a small town on the west coast of Mexico, surrounded by the Sierra Madre mountains. After spending most of her years in Houston and Buenos Aires, “It took a while to calm the big-city energy” and embrace a slower-paced life, she says. Now, she satisfies her organizational tendencies by keeping content projects orderly and on schedule. “I’m organized and communicative. I’m here to make sure everything is clear to all members of the team,” she says.

Outside of work, Lindsey loves taking walks in the jungle, playing padel (a Mexican racket sport), and meeting friends on the beach to watch the sunset. She also enjoys ceramics classes — which are a good metaphor for creating great content. “Clay has this funny way of molding itself,” she says. “You have to learn to trust the process and know that in the end, you’ll have something amazing.”
