Aha Media’s A+ Team

Meet our award-winning team of writers, editors, content strategists, project managers, and account managers.

Different clients have such different styles and needs. The same product —a blog post or a newsletter, for example — could look totally distinct from one client to the next. It’s like putting together a jigsaw puzzle, and the reward is hearing from clients who are so excited about the outcome.

Cindy Schaller worked for many years in various sectors of healthcare, which gave her a deep well of experience. But before she shares her knowledge, she listens. “When we’re kicking off a new project, I always start by really listening to understand what a client needs. Sometimes they aren’t entirely sure — but by hearing where they’re coming from and asking the right questions, I can help synthesize a solution,” she says.

One of her favorite parts of her job is finding the best approach for each situation. “Different clients have such different styles and needs. The same product —a blog post or a newsletter, for example — could look totally distinct from one client to the next,” Cindy says. She also enjoys working with the product team to find the strategists, writers and editors whose talents best fit each assignment. “It’s like putting together a jigsaw puzzle, and the reward is hearing from clients who are so excited about the outcome,” she says.

Cindy has an MBA from The George Washington University and previously worked in communications and project management, supporting several large-scale federal contracts for quality improvements in healthcare systems. In that role, she developed an empathy-focused approach to communications, always keeping the needs of the patient in mind. She brings that same philosophy to her work at Aha Media.

Cindy and her family live in northern Virginia, where they spend much of their time watching and playing sports and walking their two energetic dogs. A former soccer player, Cindy recently took up tennis and always enjoys going for a run.
