For over 20 years, Inga has worked to protect and improve people’s health. Her prior roles in public health and medical practice management fueled a passion for clear health communication. As a writer, Inga creates content that helps people understand their health and become better healthcare advocates for themselves and their families.

Inga received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Public Health from the State University of New York at Albany. She and her husband, three nearly grown children and two cats reside in Oswego, New York. Though the lake effect snow there can bury a car in a few hours, Inga loves winter and the cold, crisp air that freezes the inside of her nose.
