Ashleen has worked as a science writer for over 10 years. In that time, she has written health and medical content for nearly every audience –– from curious children to scientific experts.

She’s a former biomedical researcher with over a dozen publications. While working alongside medical professionals, she developed a passion for championing their work through her writing.

Ashleen earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College and an MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. She lives in Colorado with her husband, two kids, and dog.
