Accountant/Bookkeeper

Betsey Royston has always been a numbers person. “You know you’re in the right job when you find that state of flow,” she says. She has more than 15 years of public and private experience in accounting, bookkeeping and financial solutions. Betsey studied accounting at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. She worked in audits, financial reporting and compliance before joining Aha Media Group in 2014 as Director of Business Management. She left Aha Media in 2018 but found her way back to the team in 2020 as Accountant & Bookkeeper.

Whether she’s sending clear communications to clients or streamlining operations, Betsey prides herself on her attention to detail and efficient, accurate implementation. “It takes time to adopt new technology and learn new systems, but it’s a fun challenge finding ways to help Aha Media grow,” she says. “I’m always looking for ways to improve, both personally and as a company.”

Betsey and her husband travel every chance they get and are eyeing Central America, Asia and Australia as their next possible destinations. They lived in Paris for 2 years when their children were younger and traveled widely across Europe. When she’s not circumnavigating the globe, you can often find Betsey downhill skiing, playing pickleball and organizing social gatherings with friends and family.
