Madeleine Schroedel’s career path has traveled through neuroscience, writing, project management and marketing. The common thread has been a drive to communicate healthcare information clearly and compassionately. “Our products help people make important decisions in difficult times. I want to deliver the best content possible to help them do that,” she says.

Madeleine is a self-described perfectionist and brings strong attention to detail to her work. She enjoys collaborating with clients and the Aha Media Group account team and is always looking for ways to learn. Madeleine attends conferences and webinars to keep tabs on new marketing developments — but she lets clients’ needs, not trends, lead the way. “The latest trend isn’t always the best solution. When we decide on a marketing strategy, it’s important that the client is comfortable with our approach,” she says. 

Madeleine studied neuroscience, psychology, philosophy and writing at Washington University in St. Louis. She started her career as a Research Coordinator at the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute. In that role, she worked closely with doctors, scientists, patients and their families on clinical trials of deep brain stimulation. Looking to add more creativity to her work, she transitioned to healthcare content writing. She joined Aha Media as a writer before moving into the role of Account Manager.

Away from her desk, Madeleine enjoys testing new recipes in the kitchen, playing guitar and writing songs, painting with watercolors or hiking somewhere in New England.
