Ahava R. Leibtag has more than 20 years of experience in writing, messaging and marketing. She is a well-recognized content expert and writes thought leadership about content strategy and content marketing. Ahava is the President and owner of Aha Media Group, a content strategy and content marketing consultancy founded in October 2005. She is the author of The Digital Crown: Winning at Content on the Web.
Ahava’s position as a Communications Strategist for a government agency gave her unique perspective in writing customer-centric prose. Previously, she worked in the Corporate Communications department of Russell Reynolds Associates, a leading international executive recruiting firm. Ahava has also worked for two major advertising agencies, a commercial production company and also served as the metro beat reporter for The Jerusalem Post.
Ahava received her M.A. from Georgetown University and her B.A. from Stern College for Women of Yeshiva University. She lives in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan region.

Emily is a writer, storyteller and strategic thinker who leads Aha Media’s content development projects. She has over 10 years of experience working as a marketing and communications professional across healthcare, government, higher education and nonprofit organizations.
Emily received her BA in journalism from the University of Massachusetts, where she found her passion for research and writing about health policy. She lives on the North Shore of Massachusetts where she enjoys practicing yoga and exploring the outdoors.
Betsey Royston has more than seven years of Public Accounting experience. Throughout her career, she has helped clients in a variety of industries with audit and compliance work. Betsey joined Aha Media Group in 2014 and manages the financial aspects of our business. Previously, Betsey worked for Ernst & Young as a manager and small CPA firm. She has a BS in Accounting from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management.
Nellie Chung is an accomplished, senior-level consultant who is a naturally strategic, creative and results-driven business leader. Her unique background includes experience in publishing, broadcast, and digital arenas along with diverse experience in content creation, marketing, PR and providing strategic counsel for global brands and agencies, as well as start ups and small businesses.
Nellie is highly regarded for her integrity and perseverance, fostering collaboration to achieve results and ROI. As a consummate media professional and strategic thinker, she has been instrumental in helping clients grow their overall market share and strengthen brands through all types of integrated multi-platform media campaigns with brands such as Proctor & Gamble, Prudential, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Cotton Inc, Pepsico and Tiaa-Cref to name a few. Nellie spent the early part of her career at Encompass Media Group, The Nielsen Company and as Vice President of Client Solutions for Medialink, a broadcast communications and digital production company.

Kim Kelly has over fifteen years experience in agency client services and account management. She is a digital marketing enthusiast who excels in customer satisfaction, strong leadership, strategic insight and a performance-focused approach.
Kim has successfully defined and managed multi-channel, integrated, digital marketing programs for financial, real estate, retail, travel, entertainment, pharmaceutical and business to business companies.
Kim has her BS and MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She lives in Northern New Jersey.
Amanda is an experienced writer and editor with a niche in healthcare, financial services and higher education. She is passionate about aligning clients’ marketing and communication efforts with a strong user experience though content that is authentic, compelling and distinguishable.
Amanda lives in Indianapolis and holds a BA in Journalism from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Ark. When she’s not working or spending time with her husband and their son, she’s most likely using nature as her muse for a fresh dose of inspiration. She also aims to be a support network and a voice in the darkness for parents of children with special healthcare needs.
Amy is an award-winning health journalist and blogger whose work frequently appears in Prevention, AARP, Parents and SKY Magazine, as well as custom publications and websites including Neurology Now, WebMD and BabyCenter.com. A passionate essayist, Amy also teaches personal essay writing to students across the globe.
Prior to becoming a journalist, Amy analyzed health behaviors for the United States Department of Agriculture and the Department of Health Services. She holds masters degrees in nutrition and public health from Tufts University in Boston.
Anna is a content strategist who has over 11 years of experience working with organizations ranging from up-and-coming startups to Fortune 500s. Her industry experience also includes pharmaceuticals, healthcare, hospitality, insurance, consumer packaged goods, banking and higher education.
Anna received her BS in advertising and public relations from Northern Arizona University. She lives in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona where she enjoys plenty of year-round sunshine.
Anna Jolly Duval has more than 10 years of content strategy and marketing experience. Most recently, she worked as a senior editor on a variety of digital and print projects in the health care, insurance and financial industries. She enjoys all phases of the creative process, especially maintaining quality and keeping everything on track. Anna began her career as an editor and crime reporter for her hometown newspaper. She currently lives in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Brianne brings experience in both the book publishing and education fields. As a former high school English teacher, she enjoys creative problem solving and finding ways to simultaneously satisfy the needs of many stakeholders. Having worked in book editing and production at a major publishing house, she developed strong time management skills, the ability to juggle many projects simultaneously, and an eye for good writing and clean design. Brianne has a Bachelor’s in English from Boston University and a Master’s in Education from Georgia State University.
When not working, Brianne is usually running… either for exercise and enjoyment or to keep up with her two young children. Her other hobbies include singing, cooking, and book club. She lives in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining Aha Media Group, Carrie worked for over 12 years in the child welfare sector. She held positions first as a direct service worker and then an administrator before becoming a grant writer for a social service agency focused on child and family services. She earned a BA in political science from Moravian College and a Master’s in Social Work from Marywood University. She enjoys spending time with her family, riding her horse, reading, and staying active through hiking and working out.
Chauntel is originally from Denver Colorado. She has 20+ years of experience in office management and medical billing. Prior to joining Aha Media Group this year, Chauntel worked as an independent contractor specializing in medical billing and bookkeeping.
Chauntel is a former service member. She proudly served in the U.S. Navy while stationed at the National Naval Medical Center of Bethesda. Chauntel enjoys spending time with her husband and children and challenging herself to learn something new each day.
Geri is a writer and editor whose work about science and medicine has appeared in outlets ranging from ABC News and the Discovery Channel to the Journal of the National Cancer Institute and Scholastic classroom publications. She feels passionately that science and medical writing should be understandable and enjoyable for lay audiences of all ages.
Geri has a BS in neurobiology and animal behavior from Cornell University and an MA from the Science, Health and Environmental Reporting program at NYU. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, teenaged son, two dogs and three cats.
Geri’s love for words started early. Always an avid reader and writer, she earned her BA in English from Vassar College and brought her communications skills into a consulting career. Geri has over two decades of experience producing impactful and engaging digital content for complex, large-scale projects, as well as managing teams of writers and content strategists.
When she isn’t recruiting, onboarding and supporting Aha Media’s talented team members, Geri is pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing from Bennington College. She shares her home in central New Jersey with her husband and three cats and piles and piles of books.
Gila is an experienced copywriter and editor who specializes in helping businesses find their unique voice. She writes and edits Web and print content in a wide range of industries, including government, travel, and healthcare. Gila teaches creative writing and enjoys helping people express complex ideas in accessible language. She has a MS in Literacy Education from Hunter College. Gila joined Aha in 2009.
Jeannette’s commitment to healthful living is evident in the countless health, fitness and parenting articles she’s written for Family Circle, Redbook, Fitness, Parents, Prevention, Women’s Health, WebMD and others. Several of her articles have received awards including a Folio Editorial Excellence Award, five National Health Information Awards, a Meredith Corporation Creative Excellence Award, and a Planned Parenthood Maggie Award for Media Excellence. She has a master’s degree in corporate communication from Radford University in Virginia, and a bachelor’s degree in mass media communications from Bethany College in West Virginia.
Jessica has over ten years of experience as a writer and editor. A former magazine editor, she’s been on staff at Rachael Ray Every Day, Weight Watchers Magazine and Parade. She’s written about health, fitness, food, beauty and interviewed hundreds of celebrities.
While at Weight Watchers International, Jessica went on to manage social media for the entire U.S. brand, directed their blogger network and penned a weekly fitness column that was translated into multiple languages.
As the Social Media Manager for Parade Media Group, Jessica successfully bridged print, online and social media to tell cohesive, compelling and engaging stories. Her most glamourous workday ever was when she live-tweeted from the Oscars red carpet.
Jessica is an Ironman athlete, three-time marathoner and once ran up all 1,860 steps to the top of the Empire State Building. She continues to have a passion for fitness even though, these days, her main form of exercise is chasing around her two young sons.
Jena G. Triggs is an award-winning health journalist and writer with proven success in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and project management. With more than a decade of experience as a television producer covering a variety of topics, including health news, her passion is dissecting and communicating complex topics in a way that helps people understand the subjects that matter most to our community.
Jena’s diverse interests and skills include raising millions of dollars for the Muscular Dystrophy Association through their annual telethon, traveling to New Orleans to help support and bring awareness to the building efforts there post-Katrina and managing and rebranding web content for a prestigious Boston-area television station. She has also completed a national health care journalism fellowship program and her awards include an Emmy for Health/Science reporting.

Judi Ketteler has been writing stories since she was old enough to hold a pencil. She got her start working at an agency as a copywriter, but has been on her own since 2002.

Katie’s currently working at the intersection of design & tech as a content designer at Capital One. Prior to that she launched an enterprise content strategy practice at The Humane Society of the United States and served as a Human Innovations Fellow at the VA, where she worked alongside service designers to imagine better experiences for veterans and their families.
She holds a master’s degree in environmental policy from American University, and if you have five minutes, she can tell you exactly what Beyonce and killer content strategy have in common.
Kirsten Weir is an award-winning journalist and writer whose work has appeared in magazines, including Discover, New Scientist, Scientific American Mind and Psychology Today. She also creates print and digital content for educational publishers, trade and custom publications and major nonprofit and professional organizations.
