Ahava R. Leibtag has more than 15 years of experience in writing, messaging and marketing. She is a well-recognized content expert and writes thought leadership about content strategy and content marketing. Ahava is the President and owner of Aha Media Group, a content strategy and content marketing consultancy founded in October 2005. She is the author of The Digital Crown: Winning at Content on the Web.
Ahava’s position as a Communications Strategist for a government agency gave her unique perspective in writing customer-centric prose. Previously, she worked in the Corporate Communications department of Russell Reynolds Associates, a leading international executive recruiting firm. Ahava has also worked for two major advertising agencies, a commercial production company and also served as the metro beat reporter for The Jerusalem Post.
Ahava received her M.A. from Georgetown University and her B.A. from Stern College for Women of Yeshiva University. She lives in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan region.

Emily is a writer, storyteller and strategic thinker who leads Aha Media’s content development projects. She has over 10 years of experience working as a marketing and communications professional across healthcare, government, higher education and nonprofit organizations.
Emily received her BA in journalism from the University of Massachusetts, where she found her passion for research and writing about health policy. She lives on the North Shore of Massachusetts where she enjoys practicing yoga and exploring the outdoors.
Jena G. Triggs is an award-winning health journalist and writer with proven success in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and project management. With more than a decade of experience as a television producer covering a variety of topics, including health news, her passion is dissecting and communicating complex topics in a way that helps people understand the subjects that matter most to our community.
Jena’s diverse interests and skills include raising millions of dollars for the Muscular Dystrophy Association through their annual telethon, traveling to New Orleans to help support and bring awareness to the building efforts there post-Katrina and managing and rebranding web content for a prestigious Boston-area television station. She has also completed a national health care journalism fellowship program and her awards include an Emmy for Health/Science reporting.
Jena graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in journalism from Boston University.
Anna Jolly Duval has more than 10 years of content strategy and marketing experience. Most recently, she worked as a senior editor on a variety of digital and print projects in the health care, insurance and financial industries. She enjoys all phases of the creative process, especially maintaining quality and keeping everything on track. Anna began her career as an editor and crime reporter for her hometown newspaper. She currently lives in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Kate is a lifetime project manager and copywriter with a decade of experience in technology marketing and entertainment communications. She spent 11 years in California at high profile companies like Ubisoft and Warner Bros. Records and just relocated back to Upstate New York to enjoy the country life. Kate is an award-winning writer with 4 Game Marketing Awards for her work in digital content for the video game industry. She is a dedicated mother and enjoys traveling and sewing in her free time. She holds a B.A from Emerson College.

Her career evolved from writing and editing into account management. She led global lifecycle marketing for the Starwood Preferred Guest® program, revitalized the Cambria® Hotels & Suites brand, developed the image and voice for DC luxury real estate, directed digital campaigns for federal credit unions, and told the stories of people helped by nonprofits.

Betsey Royston has more than seven years of Public Accounting experience. Throughout her career, she has helped clients in a variety of industries with audit and compliance work. Betsey joined Aha Media Group in 2014 and manages the financial aspects of our business. Previously, Betsey worked for Ernst & Young as a manager and small CPA firm. She has a BS in Accounting from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management.
Talia manages all of the marketing for Aha Media and also serves as a content strategist on many projects. Previously, Talia improved the sales and marketing of an online retail company, creating various systems for better customer service and record keeping. She received her BS in Marketing from Sy Syms School of Business and her MBA from Bar Ilan University in Israel. Talia joined Aha Media in 2011.
Anna is a content strategist who has over 11 years of experience working with organizations ranging from up-and-coming startups to Fortune 500s. Her industry experience also includes pharmaceuticals, healthcare, hospitality, insurance, consumer packaged goods, banking and higher education.
Anna received her BS in advertising and public relations from Northern Arizona University. She lives in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona where she enjoys plenty of year-round sunshine.
Gila is an experienced copywriter and editor who specializes in helping businesses find their unique voice. She writes and edits Web and print content in a wide range of industries, including government, travel, and healthcare. Gila teaches creative writing and enjoys helping people express complex ideas in accessible language. She has a MS in Literacy Education from Hunter College. Gila joined Aha in 2009.

She develops content for corporate and nonprofit organizations that promotes their services and educates their audiences. Liesl holds a B.S. and professional certifications from Georgetown University, and has more than nineteen years’ experience in writing and editing.
As a health writer, Michael seeks to make complex and important topics accessible to his readers. He previously covered health care for a daily paper in Massachusetts. In addition to completing a national health reporting fellowship, Michael holds a BA from Northwestern University and an MS from Columbia Journalism School. His work has been honored by the National Association of Health Care Journalists.
Susanna has written about health care for more than 20 years, with a background in communications and marketing, as well as B2B and B2C content development. Several business associations have honored her work, and she’s also published essays and other creative work. She received a bachelor’s degree in English literature (with a history minor and an environmental science focus) from the University of Colorado, is an active member of Lighthouse Writers Workshop in Denver and completed CU’s Mini Med School.
